The File tags feature allows you to define specific labels for the files your customers upload. This is particularly useful for products that require distinct designs for different areas (e.g., clearly separating "Front" and "Back" prints on a t-shirt).
Setup Guide:
Enable the Feature: Check the "Enable file tags" box to activate the tagging system for this upload field.
Create a Tag: Type the name of the label you want to create (e.g., Front, Back, Sleeve) into the input field.
Save: Click the "Add" button to insert the tag into your active list.
β
Management & Limits: Your created tags will appear below the input field (as shown with the "front" tag in the image). You can define up to 10 unique tags to cover various design placement options. To remove a tag, simply click the "x" icon next to its name.
Customer Experience (Storefront) Once configured, this feature enhances the upload interface on your product page:
As shown in the image, a "Select type" dropdown menu will appear next to each file your customer uploads.
Customers can click this dropdown to assign one of your pre-defined tags to their specific file.
This ensures you know exactly how to use each file (e.g., the customer tags one image as "Front" and another as "Back"), preventing confusion during production.
